Free 24 Hours Breakdown Assistance

As a member (dependant on whether you are a Standard or Premier Package owner), you will enjoy up to RM100 (Standard) or RM300 (Premier) FREE towing and/or minor on-the-spot repairs should your vehicle break down on any major road in Malaysia . However, the free towing and/or minor on-the-spot repairs is limited to 6 times over a 12-month validity period. The free RM100 (Standard) or RM300 (Premier) towing and/or minor on-the-spot repairs do not cover any accident vehicle (Accident Towing charges will be covered under your comprehensive insurance policy).

(Towing and minor on-the-spot repairs are provided in collaboration with MI Call Center Sdn Bhd and its appointed panel)

What To Do In A Breakdown

When assistance is required during a breakdown, members should:

  1. Call our Mitsubishi Assist 24 at 1-800-88-2166
  2. Give the Call Centre Operator
    • Your Name
    • Car registration number
    • Model of car
    • Location
    • Nature of Breakdown
  3. Person seeking assistance must be present at the breakdown site

What Is Not Covered

The following items are not covered under Mitsubishi Assist 24:

  1. Cost of any spare part or petrol supplied
  2. Cost of any work done in a workshop
  3. Taxi fare, accommodation, telephone and toll charges
  4. Cost of engaging a locksmith to unlock the vehicle's door
  5. Cost of services that are recovered by a motor policy against which a claim is also being made.

Breakdown beyond gazetted roads (e.g. estate roads) will not be covered.

If your vehicle is loaded with goods, you may make an agreement with MI Call Center Sdn Bhd to transfer and transport the goods on a chargeable basis.

Standard and Premier Membership

  1. Premier memberships are given to eligible Mitsubishi Customers when their motor insurance policies are purchased from the Mitsubishi Panel of Authorized Insurers.
  2. Standard memberships are given to eligible Mitsubishi Customers when their motor insurance policies are NOT purchased from the Mitsubishi Panel of Authorized Insurers.
  3. Mitsubishi Assist 24 membership is applicable only to your Mitsubishi vehicle and not the owner.

Home Assist Services

The services provided shall be on a referral basis and members have to bear the costs for services rendered. Certified contractors shall be dispatched as soon as practicable. Rates charged will reflect competitive market charges.
